Buy it For The Cover... - Any big-time Archies fan will have several Greatest Hits collections, the best of which is Absolutely The Best of The Archies. This album has the obligatory hits collection but in spite of the fact that it has the original cover from the Kirshner Records LP (except for the Sugar Sugar references, a different font and the song titles across the top), the titles don t match the original LP and even include the Pistel Remix of Sugar Sugar which came out in 1999. Being a collector, I ll just get it for the cover and lament that it s yet another hits collection without Strangers In The Morning, Plum Crazy, Love Is Living In You and other Archies songs that haven t found their way onto CD yet.
